While the biggest days for tornadoes will be Friday and Saturday, including the evening hours, any severe thunderstorm can produce a brief tornado from Thursday to Sunday evening. The severe thunderstorms will likely roll through the metro areas of Oklahoma City and Wichita, Kan., during the middle of the night before reaching Dallas; Topeka, Kan.; and Grand Island, Neb., around or before daybreak on Friday.
